Ouch. That's pants. Are you definitely signed in with the same Windows profile?
You could go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Back up and Restore (Windows 7) and see if that's of any use.

Either way, don't abandon hope — 'lost' files after updates are rarely genuinely gone, IME.

Impossible. Cost of SSD is so cheap and everyone with common sense shoots an image for back up onto the cheap as all fuck SSD as back up.
Or one can if one has the $$$ use one of many clouds to store. You can keep cloud storage costs almost zero if you use say Google for images and Amazon for data base stuff. Even one well known chan does just exactly that with AWS as Freeeeee.
Now b4 you jump to conclusions - Find on web a free disk analyses tool and look for those missing files. They are probably still there because it takes more than a simple update to wipe a disk clean and leave the O/S intact.
Worst case is you find a local company that will image your disk for you and help you recover the lost files. They are not lost just miss~placed for now.

NOT b4 he first locates all files still on disk or as say in my case an SSD because no one these days shud be using a rotation pile of plates and moving magnetic heads to store and retrieve data - Except for data centers aka Clouds cause the cost of SSD as cheap as it is - Ain't close to old fashoined moving plates rotating like some old vinyl disk.
Memories for me once working on a Drum with heads back when I had to protect them from dinosaurs that found the rotation worth a sniff and a bite

I went there and it shows no restore points. In fact, I think they said that feature wasn't logged on. I did noticed that there was a notification that said Windows couldn't install a feature. Is it possible that while my router was being a piece of shit (ip confliction) Windows 10 couldn't complete the update so it did a factory reset?
I did log into my Microsoft account and it looks like I am logged into that now. My C drive looks like it has the same amount of space as it did before I booted it up. There isn't anything my downloads or documents folder either.
I checked to see what version the Windows 10 is at on the PC, but I don't know what the current version is... it says I have Windows 10 v1903.

You should have done that ages ago. However that is not going to wipe out your files.
Have you tried windows explorer or Free for a month or so XYplorer or other file explorers
AND WHEN you say wiped out - Do you mean your browser files? So many files in so many places. Fully doubt they are gone. Hard to do that even if you wanted too.

EVERYTHING! Everything from my Documents, Downloads, Desktop, wherever. It’s like it was factory restored except for the installed applications.

I have one from Comcast but I just use the same old crappy TP-Link wireless router I used back in the old days because I'm too lazy to set shit up.

The router shouldn’t have anything to do with it. The files should still be there if it was just an update.

Do you think the “couldn’t install feature” message has something to do with it?
Like maybe the update couldn’t complete because no internet so it just factory reset everything?!

While it's funny to imagine someone writing update code that responded to an error by nuking everything on the system and resetting it, I doubt that's the cause.
> EVERYTHING! Everything from my Documents, Downloads, Desktop, wherever. It’s like it was factory restored except for the installed applications.
Are you still logged in as the same user? Why would an update kill everything in your User directory?

I logged on using my pen and it does show the email I used for my Microsoft account. But I did read that it could have loaded me onto a guest profile even though my computer only has one. So I’m not sure if this is it.

oh, right. that is a thing, where windows makes a new account and puts you there for some shit reason. I've come out of that scenario sometimes.

There are times Cathy drives me fukin crazy - this is one of those times.
Cathy you have been around long enough to remember windows Explorer - I am not a fan of the current program MS uses for Explorer because I liked the Trees of the past and the Roots that were often most useful.
MS 10 wants you to FORCES you to use the Start button and type in your question.
I am so short on play time vs multitasking and I do NOT want to get lost in the weeds of play 2DAY - I wanted to find my OLD FAV way of looking at what is on my disk (Now SSD of course as who in rite mind uses spinning vinyl like platters these days)
So I give you this - Two quick ways to C what exactly is on your drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This one is free for only 30 days - Enough time for you to find out what and where your stuff IS - This one is new to me but a quick look at my Drive and it WORKS good nuff EXCEPT I C other stuff on the next one that is very old and 100% free 4Ever
Download XYployer
XYplorer is a file manager for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10. XYplorer is a hybrid file manager that combines features found in navigational and orthodox file managers. In addition to dual folder panes it features a file tree and a tabbed interface supporting drag-and-drop between tabs and panes. Wikipedia
Now this one I have used maybe a Decade ago and a quick fast download and it's still there and it sure works - Give it tyme to look at your drive and pay no attention to any message about NOT responding - It just takes time depending on how much to map your drive.
And for sure this one is NOT purrrrfect because it showed my MS Word files as 0 Content Yet on the Extensions panel I could find ALL OF MY WORD Files - Deal is this computer never being used for work has so few word files they appear on this very old free software as 0 Content yet on any extension in the pane you get to see ever fukin file down to just one single JPG of the many I have for reaction images
The one that costs but is free for 30 days has the FILES In Fucking HEX which takes an external Hex converter to read the simple English as it should be if one is paying cash after 30 days for a frigging new program - er sorry for the RANT
The Free one does allow me to look at what I am looking FOR
AND you get in living colour lots of how your drive looks and where the files R
My fav and no play time to find does it with a Pie Chart with slices
ALSO The free one I suggest via Fosshub - If for instance you use Firefox? You can see the .json extension which has your profile -
Ask Cnet for the best free file programs for Win10 AND THEY will return a list of at least 10 Freebees and even 30 day trials so you can see you have all of your stuff on current computer but with a glitch that you will need to clear - Maybe even having to pay for help from say Best Buy Geeks n such or some neighbor or COMPUTER Instructor in the town I forget where you live cause if I type it you whine and cry and later you post a thank you for suggesting you eat at Grubhurts in Victorville https://www.fosshub.com/WinDirStat.html

You are the one that fully admits you hate life so much you are doing all you can to get Cancer of the cock and balls (balls you have no use for anyway) and want to emulate Indy's hole in lung problem ASAP
And you damn well understand your Mouth/Tongue/Cheeks have a very high chance of Cancer chewing all that up.
No way I can kiss my mom given she is buried in a coffin I selected for her long term sleep -
So like how long have you been a Necrophiliac
