New Orleans ...Oyster and Artichoke soup. Amazing except they do use canned Artichokes. I make mine from fresh,,,not often lol a lot of work!
Cook Artichokes often and have frig loaded up for tomorrows dinner.
Ex GF prepared a dinner from Salad Soup to main course and dessert all based on Artichokes...Have a daughter with that GF.

What do you find delicious about them

Crispy and nutty, like popcorn, if you can get beyond the reality of what you are actually eating. The flavor is surprisingly mild and normal for something so seemingly exotic.

I've had crickets and mealworms before and I didn't particularly enjoy them but they were freeze dried or something

Try them freshly fried. They really only tasty nutty and crunchy. Nothing is gross about the texture or flavor.

the ones i had were too crunchy. i assume frying them makes them slightly less so. they dont have much flavour
