Topic: The unconscious thing that a perverts mind does

There's a combination of "communism" and psychoanalytics where psychoanalytic insights are taken into account in regards how to bring about a better society which is better, what's better being determined by Marxists. One thing which is regarded as a early mistake, is that in their categorization of types of minds, the perverted mind was believed to have the most revolutionary potential. In the view of these amateur Marxists/psychoanalysts, the pervert was the rule breaker, the ones that went after their dreams. However, the perverted mind has but one deepest dream and it is to have its desires approved by a thing called the big other. The big other is called "The big other" because early psychoanalytics was very poor in their wording and naming, so to distinguish that which is simply of a other nature and this thing they came to call the big other... They named the latter with a capital O, as in Other rather than just other.
The big other is something that doesn't exist, or only really in our minds as a psychological apparatus. It's hard to describe but I've done it before for no apparent reason and probably in a very shitty way but I'll do it yet again with a example. A pervert wants only to have his perversions accepted and inscribed by the big other, and he unconsciously does make that come true. When a pervert with a fetish for a certain type of shoe (for example) sees that very same shoe in a fashion magazine or a movie, it's taken by the pervert as a sign that the big other approves. Why else would a common shoe that he likes so much... Suddenly appear in films and magazines? Obviously the big other approves, the big other being a sort of a personafication of society.

now there is the lesson of the apple cider man who awoke from a month-long coma to discover that bitching about pronouns makes people give you millions of dollars

I don't know who the apple cider man is from your wonderful post but it's a very good example. Let's just for peace sake say that 1% of transsexuals are transsexuals for illegitimate reasons, perhaps people who took their maschoism too far and decided to submit to their "sissification/femalization" fetish 24/7. That would be a example of the overrated revolutionary potential of the perverted mind structure, no systematic changes in the power structure but rather just the inclusion of his fetish in it.

is the path to perversion necessarily labyrinthine, or might there be a "royal road" shall we say

There's a difference between what's considered a pervert and what psychoanalytics consider a pervert. They really named things badly. The royal road to becoming a pervert happens in very early childhood, the idea being of course that something takes place unconsciously that hardwires you in certain ways... Unconsciously. A pervert is heavily focused on the big other, the thrill of a pervert is being certain about what the big other desires. In S&M for example, the fantasy that's always being carried out can be seen as a fantasy of desires being completely obvious, the slave is obviously being tortured and the master obviously wants to torture.
So from what I gather, the idea is that in very early childhood, through some kind of a trauma that inevitably happens to all of us in some way or another, the pervert was unsure of his relationship with the big other, probably through the projection of the big other onto his parents. So in order to bypass this trauma, there's a fantasy of complete certainty when it comes to what the big other wants.
