Back in the 50s, you could put radioactive chemicals in paint and toothpaste. They thought nothing of letting kids play with x-ray spectacles that bombarded everyone with radiation.

Those x-ray spectacles are actually one of the reasons breast cancer is such a problem today in older women. Boomer spent his teen years bombarding every girl's boobs with x-rays.
