Try getting a refund from a company. Same exact issue. Everyone wants to take your money. No one wants to give it back.

I haven't had any trouble myself. Like you go to Walmart/Best Buy/Target/etc and you get your money back in like 5 minutes. Amazon has been pretty good too.
I rarely return things because I only buy things I want after carefully considering the purchase. I would only return if something was DOA or significantly not as described.

Amazon is good about it. Gyms are notoriously bad about it though. I generally don't buy that much stuff besides necessities so I don't seek out a lot of refunds.

I don't like returning things unless it's defective or falsely advertised because it's an admission you fucked up. "Oh I just decided I didn't want that anymore" it's like, are you fucking serious??? do you even think before handing over your hard earned money????

The IRS is much better for cash than the IRA.

Do you E-file? I use Turbo Tax and get a huge refund every year, which is direct deposited to my bank account in a few days.

Poor Bert can't afford a bank account, and has to wait on paper checks.

Yes efile but I dont want to wait for a week and a half, they take the damn cash out once a week they could give it back in a week, instead of two weeks.

HMRC (our IRS) are just as shit. There should be penalties on the taxman for late payment of money they owe to you. ?
