If 3-year-olds alive today wouldn't understand the complexities and consequences of gender reassignment. Children today seem like they're becoming smarter compared to children during the '90s or the '80s. This is likely due to parents being better prepared to raise children than their boomer parents or there's something in the water. There was a kid I encountered once who spoke near-perfect English that it was a little discouraging. Smarts are starting to show younger and younger, I swear.
