It was another pitbull bigger than her coming out of a car towards us the owner came out of his car rushing over holding groceries and without a free hand tried to use his legs to like swoop around him and pull him back his dog said fuck all that and kept advancing and Cookie just chilling but watching intently. His dog and Cookie's face met. His dog attacked first but Cookie beast. My thumb was injured in the process of trying to pry their mouths open. After that whole exchange the owner came back outside to pick up his groceries and said sth like man idk why dogs but they be like that sometimes. Asked about my thumb said it's all right I can still play guitar he said what i said nothing and I took Cookie home for a bath.
