I like to just chill there and I have an annual pass.

Kind of nice being able to loiter there.

Which pass do you have? Also, have you been on Rise of the Resistance yet? I’ve ridden it twice.

The lowest tiered one and no I haven’t. I heard you still have to get there really early to even get into a group.

Yeah, you have to get inside the park during Magic Mornings and then queue up on the app right at 8 AM. It’s a really great ride.

Prices at Disneyland are really low in cost.
Annual Passports start at $419 but include a lot of blocked out dates with many attractions scheduled for maintenance.
Even at $649 one cannot attend on holidays and again many many blocked out days with attractions on maintenance.

$1,199.00 again many blocked out dates which leads to the Pass that is the real Annual pass.

$1449.00 with no blocked out days.

https://disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/

As high as that appears the new price for a day at Disneyland during the normal season is $149/Day

The signature one that you say has “many blackout dates” only has the week of Christmas and New Years blacked out

True however for $1200/year you are also stuck with this.
"Blockout dates and times of operation are subject to change without notice."

And you think that means they may open up the holiday block out dates, then what you're smoking I want.

Dude it’s 2 weeks out of the year that you can’t go and it’s also the busiest time of year there. It’s not as horrifying as you make it out to be.

My mother and I have them. $20 a month.

June and July are entirely blacked out but that’s the busy season so why go then anyway?

I’m talking about Syntax not you and I’m talking about the signature pass with him not the one you have.

About 6 weeks after Disneyland opened I went there on a first date. Not really a girlfriend although I sure wanted that to happen. Was NOT to be. Yet we are still very best friends and I say to myself WHAT THE FUCK WAS I thinking - So let's call her Cathy and she and I have been as close as one can be with a Platonic relationship.

Forget all that we did that night EXCEPT for the Matterhorn ride. People were raving about it and quickly I found out why re the close super close body contact of her in front of me because she insisted that she ride up front and who was I to argue.

All was MOST Purrrrrfect until the VERY END. Last 12 seconds or so - We ended up totally soaked and I mean Soaked fully dripping Wet as could possible B

Turns out we were far from the first to experience this ride mishap and the people at Disneyland were totally prepared. Towels to dry and keep drying and a room nearby to change into robes while they sent people to local stores that were opened at Disneyland request so they got new clothes in our sizes. WE were NOT at all unhappy but were inconvenienced at loss of time to explore the park.

Disneyland gave us a bunch of Merch and we each got our own lifetime annual pass. Later we both lost our passes and paperwork yet years later I wanted to see if they had any record of the event and they pulled up paperwork quickly and gave me a new pass which is not really necessary cause with ID computer shows I am ok for life and I made sure Cathy is as well - Have never returned to the park with her but will bring it up the next time I see her.

Disneyland is a class act operation - Lots of great memories EXCEPT that frigging ear worm tune I will NOT NOT Type the name of

Eons later when Disney execs approached a company I was Exec at and wanted what we were designing and selling - We really really were not selling anything as the product was super overpriced so no one wood buy it. But they liked the specs and Hype - What I got out of that was an invite to see Disney Engineering for the attractions and Hot Damn was I super impressed.

Just the efforts alone to make Fire appear like Fireplaces WITH NO Fire at all. A huge number of Engineers working on making it more and more realistic.

Also the quality of the Engineers they employed - TOP level peeps from CalTech and UCLA MIT Purdue and the famous English schools - Later for other reasons I got a tour of the Underground of Disneyland which is a City unto itself to keep the place running and the ability to see where people were and how many and speed of movement - Those jobs underground were close or at minimum wages.

Never met Walt but did meet relatives and only because I lived in Marina del Rey where relatives were really in2 racing in a world class winning way.

NOR is it important if you do.
You retain the right to remain stupid and keep residing in that basement of yours and never learn to live life and have life's experiences which can be many.
