Once you have a clean TV licence you're okay, just got pay the basic fee and social media isn't monitored but the more points you gain the more they check your socal media and the higher fee you pay plus they talk to your ISP to see what you're up to. At 12 points you lose your licence for up to 3 years. They are arseholes.

It's not as bad as OP's making it seem. They don't really care as long as your social media posts aren't BBC related. They only monitor posts that use certain keywords, and enforcement officers visit a handful of times a year, tops. It's all a fuss over nothing, honestly.

Have you ever attended one of them? I wouldn't trust courts, they snoop too much and can dig up anything. It's best to just pay the incressed fee and use a VPN then act all nice nice when the licence officers come round.

Yes, a good couple of years ago now. They're not so bad if you play by the rules. I saw the state of the gaol they put licence breakers in though, I wouldn't risk that.
