Topic: I feel really faithful with each passing day.

It’s a feeling that feels good but I’m too afraid of coming out since I know this is something that my brother WILL disown me for.

"Faithful"?

I hope you don't mean religous. It's all bullshit. If you're feeling like there is some kind of supernatural power then it's just how parts of the human brain work, that's not to say you can't be spiritual because you can but don't be fooled into believing in some super-allpowerful being.

Hopefully you mean hopeful and have not, in fact, joined a cult.

The only “cult” I’m in are the cults of Poppy, Natalie Wynn, and Seth Rollins.

Man who voted for Brexit offers advice on basing decisions around facts and logic.

I wasn't refuting your "arguement" (sic). I was highlighting the irony of your post.

Do I have faith in my country in doing well outside the EU? Yes! but that is based on facts and logic. Britain has historically punched above its weight and I believe it will continue to do so.

Here is a hypothetical. What if things don’t go too well for Britain in ten or twenty years time? Are they still allowed to rejoin if need be?

Britain historically had an empire. Now it doesn't. You are nowhere near the geopolitical power you were even 25 years ago (i.e prior to the handing back of Hong Kong, which generally marks the 'formal' end of the British Empire).

> and I believe it will continue to do so.

And I hope you are correct. I just don't know on what you are basing that, other than vague jingoistic optimism.

Theoretically, sure. A few of the EU leadership have said they'd welcome the UK back if we rejoined. And, as stupid as we're being with Brexit, we're still a rich and influential nation which makes us an attractive candidate.

The EU have said the UK can rejoin, but it would be on their (the EU's) terms. Basically the UK would be leaving an organisation in which they had enormous power and rejoining it as a subservient member. Which would of course be extremely stupid but then everything about Brexit is extremely stupid, so don't rule it out
