I have a near complete set of vintage Vereco glassware. This includes plates, bowls, sweets tray and drinking glasses. They are green and made of tempered glass. I also now have a glass shaped like a pineapple and one shaped like a cactus. They are green.

It would be fine if it was a rule, I don't care about that. It's just feels like modabuse to try to enforce something only moderators know about without any prior knowledge being spread to the forum. But that's just my opinion, and I'm pretty sure no one else cares.

At Qualcomm I am usually surrounded by people from all over the planet with very Very very few white people. I can shock everyone at a meeting by just showing up in a business suite cause NO one ever wears such 99.99999% of the time.
People of course who come in for employment interviews always dress up only to discover they are the only person in the building dressed as such - I remember that off putting day.
That Mug would be a great reaction image thing to start a meeting. I often wear T-Shirts that bug Q managers because they are from projects or companies no longer related to the company. Lots of long term employees grimace when they see me in one of those shirts.
Most meetings are composed of such UPTIGHT overworked (at least 60 hours a week) and it takes something Anything to break up for a moment that Uptightness that hinders getting meetings started.
Kind of like MC - Takes some kickass routines to get juices flowing

Overall it's a terrific company. Problem is no matter how many people they hire there are just not enough people for the work load. And there is a huge element of those from say Pakistan or India all super educated not only from their own country but USA and usually Master degrees. But many IF not most live in a Condo or house where each bedroom is occupied wall to wall mattress. They do get paid large salaries but most send most of the money back to parents or extended family. So they do work their asses off and many put in 80 hour weeks. They eat breakfast lunch and dinner on the company so in fact they live at Qualcomm or a few hours sleep - Many even have cots or a couch in their office to sleep at Q
About the only thing they do outside of work is use the company Gyms and there are many many of those there. Comes down to the company was founded by University Professors and the buildings are laid out exactly like a University campus.
What is depressing is when one of them is married and wants me to introduce them to the women I dance with - On occasion several have made it clear they want more than one wife - Even thou currently such is discouraged officially in the Muslim countries they come from. Same for the Hindu's of which there are many.
Years ago one of the wife's who was in country at time told me she wanted to find a second wife for the husband and she was NOT kidding. She grew up with two mothers and she was not about to be the only woman of the household and this woman had a PhD.

Only recently I switched from most Fav Mug EVER in my life to a larger Thicker Ceramic one, just for that reason
