I personally don't feel attacked I guess by syntax, but I know he references me a lot as proof of things regarding interactions with posters in this part of the chan-o-sphere, and because I have a pretty bad memory, I basically have his documentation as whatever probably happened. Ugh. Okay, here's my idea: delete these topics, then make three new ones for each user.
Each one gets an opening post outlining the three options shown here, then the users have to vote by making a post. The mods then go through the thread, verifying the posts to check for anyone using multiple UIDs to vote or one of the three evading. Then they write up the numbers themselves to see how the userbase feels.
Getting the userbase's opinion is the fair thing to do, even if it's not necessarily going to be the sole factor.

It's his modus operandi. He thinks it sounds authentic if he says he's ready to provide evidence of his ridiculous lies, but then he sets insane conditions for someone (you in this case) getting the evidence. Finally people just get tired of asking him and he moves on to the next lie.

Wise decision. I wanted to warn you: be extremely cautious about giving any personal information to Syntax, including your e-mail address. He will use it to track down any information he can about you. I'm sure you've figured it out by now but his sole reason for making you jump through this hoop is to get you to give him your e-mail (just as his sole reason for offering to send Bert 15 bucks was to get his address).

Of course, it doesn't make any sense and completely misrepresents reality. The MC mods are all on pretty good terms with each other and don't really do byzantine politics like he's making out. If one of us, for whatever reason, disagreed with him being banned, we'd talk it out. They wouldn't pass him some fucking secret note, to be presented like a get out of jail free card if he's banned.

Basically, he misunderstood my intention when I mentioned to him that he'd looked through exif data.
He thought it meant that imgur didn't delete such data (which it apparently does), but my actual issue was that he has apparently looked at that data in the first place and then told the user about it. Obviously that would make someone feel understandably uncomfortable, like you were trying to track them down.
