Ummmm... How is that a response to what anon B said?

I recall playing it on the SNES. It's very pretty and I could sit and watch my friends play it for hours. I was always fond of games that I could sit and ponder over though. Not everything has to be a button mashing adventure game.

I don't know. It sounds like Cathy is being down about not liking action games or FPS or something. I'm trying to lift her spirits.

She's being down about not being good at a vidjya gaem. However, nobody starts off good at any vidjya gaem. Just like anything else, you get good with practice.

I guess I agree with that. Practice is a pretty essential ingredient. I just want Cathy to know that there are plenty of video game nerds out there who like turn-by-turn strategy or old adventure games or whatnot. I admire a lot of games that are pretty and well designed but that I'd never play for myself. Kinda like someone can watch and enjoy a sport even though they would get massacred out on a field of professionals.

I love Animal Crossing even though I am slow to get projects built due to being slow to accumulate bells. I'm almost out of storage space because I always buy too much from the Able Sisters as well as furniture. I might be doing something wrong.

You want to buy something and then sell it immediately. As long as it isnt a special item, you can reorder it from the catalog at Nooks. And so that will save you storage space. You can also stack fruit if you didn't already know
Also, a good way to make bells quicker, is to go to the Island and catch beetles. You want more trees, especially palm trees compared to flowers

You can stack fruit? Like in your inventory? I didn’t know this at all.
My town now has a lot of fruit trees ranging from Apples, Peaches, Pears (native), Bananas, Mangos (I think), and one tree from another that I cannot remember the name of right now.
My furniture is in my storage. Is there a way to know if they are special? It’s been so long since I acquired them.

Yes You can stack like fruits. Also you can google pieces of furniture to see if they are limited editions. Also you should plant foreign fruit as they are more expensive and get you more money.
Have you visited the island yet?

On reddit there is a subreddit called something like animal crossing trades. You should check it out. It has very strict rules, but you could use it to get perfect fruit for your town

Yes, I've been to the island, but once I got the fruit there I didn't think there was much of a reason to go back.

No you go there to catch beetles! Catch one of every bug there and then cut down all trees but palm trees, also plant a few additional palm trees. Easy money to be had
Also don't go until 7:00pm in game time I believe. That's when the beetles come out

Play Yoshi's Island. Donkey Kong Country is one of the tougher platformers.

@previous (Green !StaYqkzUPc) Donkey King Country is pretty fun, to be honest. I thought about trying a Yoshi game. I wonder if Nintendo has that game on demand for the Switch. I've been falling in love with this Kirby game though.

I haven't yet, but I'm still planning on doing that. Cut down all of the trees and only plant the palm trees, right? And catch beetles? I assume the palm trees are the banana trees in the game... ?

Yes and yes. Catching beetles makes you easy money. In fact, you should google which ones are worth more
Do this after you have caught one of each bug on the island if you are a collector

Don't feel bad. I never beat Super Mario either. It was still hella fun in the '90s though. I've probably beaten less than half the games I bought. I've never 100% completed a game (I mean, in the sense that I beat the final level but I've never gone through and collected every single hidden collectible or whatever).
I think with games once you get all you can get out of it, I mean you should stop at that point. It's like eating. You eat till you're satisfied and stop. You don't have to eat the whole pizza in one sitting.

I beat the original Super Mario Bros when I was like 8. It is definitely hard from World 7 onward you do need some luck to land on the single square platforms in World 8-3. I think that some games require twitchiness that you lose when you’re older. I’m not sure I’d be as good at some games as I was when I was 10
