Syntax was 40 years old when the first VCRs hit the market.

And he lives in your head rent free. So sad.
@previous (A)
His cost free lease is almost up, as he is 77 almost 80.
What the fuck did you say to me punk? Do you know who I am? I am Bert fucking Field. I'll have you know I was dishonorably discharged from the Navy, no confirmed kills, nor do I have any skills. But I have been trained in curbstomping the piss out of you while I empty my seed sack in your mom. Do you really wanna fuck with me?
@previous (D)

He will still be living in your head, even after he dies. It is obsessed fags like you that will carry on his memory.
@previous (A)
Then the memory of 77 almost 80 shall live on forever!

Coincidentally, I do have Silence of the Lambs on VHS, which I purchased for $0.25. I also have it on Blu-Ray.

Mid 40's and WE as in a group of workmates bought 4 of them Quickly - Three for each of us to use and one to take apart in total.
Memories of taking the head apart - I should have been the last person for that task cause me and Mechanical contraptions usually do not make a good mix - I take something apart and put back together and always have parts left over yet the device WORKS.
Did ok as kiddlet rebuilding a Carburetor - Three and then a Transmission and that was fun cause the parts are wayyyyyy too large to leave anything out - But the Head of that Beta player was a joy of engineering - I also took a teletype machine fully apart but needed much help getting it back together but so many techs near by trained by Military made that as simple as inviting them over for moms dinners.
Beta machine was a work of ART - VHS machines just JUNK - Worked/Works but JUNK - Poor image as result compared to Beta - Fact is 100% of Pro broadcasters used ONLY Beta machines - VHS just Crap
AND Syntax was the very 1st person to witness LaserDisk recording with hands on HELP - Damn just Damn that was one hell of a fun R&D project - I take NO personal credit for invention and design but in total Credit for making it happen and coming up with the money to make that happen - Discovision was a PRODUCT Failure YET in total the Patents are still 2Day paying off Mega Millions of Royalties - Plus because Solid State has now replaced Need for Laser recording and readout for some Reason BlueRay, is still a hot product AND AND the Solid State SSD type devices require USE of the Discovision Patents to make the IC's
Just fucking amazing and as much as it bugs the shit out of me - Crazy as all fuck CEO/Attorney Lew Wasserman founder of Universal Studios and twice Loser B4 US Supreme Court - ENDS UP Being so MAD AS ALL FUCK AT SONY BETA - He says HEY WE Stamp out Vinyl records at MCA/Decca by the zillions so why NOT just put Movies on Vinyl - Total wack job idea - Mass of Engineers he hired as consultants laffed in his face - Me did not No enough to Laff and told the guy Hey I have no clue what can be done for video on a record format size wize, but can tell you Engineers wood have NO CLUE - So U B interviewing the Rong people
I did have background on state of art for Spy in Sky memory which is shocking just Shocking in the way Hughes Malibu invented the How2's. I was just a very young engineer who said Really U got2 be kidding with how you plan to store information in SPACE - Yet they did for years and years - Boggles my mind still 2Day
{Info was put on something called a Memoscope which was Cathode Ray Tube "CRT's" of 5 Inches in size with Three each needed IN SPACE in a Satellite and a Camera with Film running at rather fast speed to record the CRT Memoscope Image - Then the Film wood get all full of Info and have to be dumped from SPACE down down to a Net that was held between aircraft so the Film wood fall into the Net for recovery) Totally crazy yet it worked most of the time FOR YEARS and Years as well as in U2 Spy plane and other many other Recon Aircraft like F104's and F105's and converted Tankers for Spy from Sky
Damn Memory has cum a long way - Being OLDER does mean having the time to experience a wide wide WIDE range of
Stuff
So I new a mountain climbing buddy who was Senior Scientist for Hughes in total - I said hey given the dimensions of a Vinyl Record just how much information could be put in such space Science/Physics wise and low and behold with 3D Calculus (Vectors) He derived the limits - Turns out one can put every movie ever made on just one disk - So just a two hour movie should be Simple LoL
Y the word salad? For a team who has hands on models of future of 6G and 7G for 2024 or so - Because one part of one model made in multiples so as to be deployed to other cities for play - Has a major part pulled out of a brand new Microwave Oven - It's HUGE in size and takes two hands to fully hold that one part - The KEY Part which of course has to be one day Miniaturized - Then Real Ray guns will be possible - For now that is some other engineers team problem.
Wood take a Rack of Gear to do what the one part of Oven does currently if Solid State were to be used - Part current use tends to explode so boxes of new ovens are on standby - Manufacture will NOT sell that part by self currently - Making them by hand is possible but when one can just by the ovens why bother
OK soon must depart to meet with team at a Verizon site which by Co~Wink~e~Dink is just 2 minutes from my 24 Hour fitness Gym - I just love being able to change billing hours on my way to that Gym

Why do you write a wall of text nobody will read?
