Does this happen to anyone else, or am I just a horrible person?

So I’m just a spectacle to you? Also, that dick is long but the balls are small.

I mean, sometimes. The fact I feel remorse for these actions says more about my charcter, tho.

My life has been going great actually. Changed my doctor to somebody who doesn’t think the year is 1931 or 1966. Managed to fill out a resume with references. Learning how to cook. Finally went out dressed as my gender. For the first time in my life I’m at peace. This is a pretty lame punchline.

Actually 1930 and 1966 were both huge milestone years for transgender care. Lili Elbe was the first known transwoman to receive sex reassignment surgery in Germany in 1930. And the first MtF surgeries in the United States were performed in 1966 at Johns Hopkins University. So there are worse years for a doctor to think it is!

I know. ;-) I really should have said a doctor who doesn’t treat this like it’s some new study from those eras. Someone who stays current and knows what medications to prescribe.

I’ve had doctors in the past that played it cautionary likely due to not wanting to be sued or fucking up. Understandable, but could be remedied by updating their practice. I’m sure there’s still a difference between 1931, 1966, and 2020.

I also had a doctor lie to my fucking face about a procedure not being covered by my insurance when it clearly was. I’m getting the procedure now and the insurance company is covering it. She likely just didn’t want to write a letter to get it approved. If she didn’t want to do that then just tell me. Don’t lie to my face after I handed you something from the insurance provider stating that they will cover it if deemed medically necessary.

This new primary care doctor I have is very good.

Laser hair removal.

How do you justify that as being medically necessary?

I don’t know. I didn’t write the letter. Probably under some mental health reason most likely.
