Horrible. Still dealing with a leak in my apartment which I reported a year ago. After nearly a week, they finally found the source today, and it is under my foundation.

Oof. Bathroom ceiling collapsed a bit in my last apartment because the upstairs apartment had a leak.

Luckily, there is no signs of water on my ceiling. However, them having to tear up the floor makes me worry about my cat getting into something she should not. ?

Spent the last 7 hours finally fixing an issue at work. And I'm not even sure I addressed the root cause; but hey, it 'works', so wew. ?

Oof. Is it possible to close off the room where the floor is being ripped out?

Nope. Hopefully they can offer me some solution.

Maybe, but she would have to be unable to jump it. It's not your fault, should have been fixed when I reported it a year ago. Instead of just slapping a band aid on the problem and calling it good.

I guess your landlord is shitty all around? Mine responded promptly and came by the same evening to fix the damage but then didn't send a plumber. I assume it's fixed by now (i moved out) but who knows!
I had to trap and take a friend's feral foster cat after her ceiling collapsed while she was out of town. Kitty loved kraft dinner.
