Nice! That shouldn't be too harmful if done for a short period of time. My grandmother who was 60 or so did it for 1 week accompanied with the Quran. WOLOLOLO. Ramadan is coming up soon and since I'm going to New York soon...I'll have to fast as well. :(

I broke it once without telling them, and it felt awfully awkward and terrible pretending to be dying of hunger and thirst all day and celebrating their sacrifices. :(

Hmm? Our bodies can survive fasting, but we aren't meant to. Intermediate fasting (one big meal a day) is really all you should do.
There aren't any real health benefits otherwise, except if you are addicted to sugar and shit, but if that's the case you arent likely to be fasting for more than a few minutes.
