This is sadly what a lot of this anti global warming is about. Just a crazy inner drive to punish yourself, trying to please some unrealistic demands that can never be met because the whole point is that you can't meet those demands and become humble because of it, keeping a big ego in check except this green movement is a distorted sick version of that drive within us.
