I thought the concept of animus and anima were debunked along with Freud's shit.

It's all bullshit. The human mind isn't a machine you can tear apart and figure out how it works and what causes it to go wrong. That's why there are so many different kinds of psychology.

It's definitely a mental disorder, as it originates in the mind. Same with transgenderism. Please come up with some orginal thoughts. Thanks.

Why would heterosexuality not be a mental disorder?

these early attempts to apply science to the phenomenon of the human mind were obviously limited by the lack of technology to study the living brain. as in any science, models of reality are developed to try to usefully explain what is observed. Any scientist knows that models of reality are not reality itself. We entertain the models as far as we judge them to be useful.

Because it leads to propagation, and is far more common than homosexuality.

I don't think those are great metrics for mental health. Substance abuse and theft are really common and have upsides too. That doesn't make them a recipe for mental wellness.

Mental wellness has nothing to do with sexual orientation, outside of being put under stress by not being straight.

So how are some sexual orientations mental disorders then?
