After much discussion of the term on here I believe I finally narrowed down its definition to the following:
Dadrock is rock music that isn't necessarily rock music which is enjoyed by dads who aren't necessarily dads and was composed sometime between the birth of Hildegard von Bingen and this morning.

I have several of these loaded with a very wide range of music from Roll with me Henry and Rock Around the Clock
To a lot of Rap and stuff no one can categorize - Loads of ballads that are good in the Steam Room at the Gym - NOT SO MUCH SO GOOD FOR Aerobic work outs.
