he had surgery for two hernias. i didn't want to hurt him while he was healing. especially cause he won't scratch or bite even when im causing him discomfort or pain.

he's healed up and a happy kitty :) tough little guy too, even before the surgery he was running around playing like two hernias didn't bother him a bit

I thought so too. I asked and the vet said cats are usually pretty good about not licking belly stitches. It's true, he barely touched them. Here's a pic from when he got side stitches last year though
