It's my first time doing historic archaeology professionally. The methodology necessitates a lot more teamwork and communication than prehistoric archaeology, where you have your own little area and kind of work together alone. French is always spoken on-site (and my boss doesn't really speak any English). I have mad anxiety so I get nervous that I've missed or misunderstood something so then I can't focus as well which makes it harder to understand which makes me even more scared etc etc. I don't think I've actually messed anything up but it's super stressful and it's wearing on me and i hate crying after work feeling like I suck at everything. Gonna try to keep to prehistoric contracts in the future (and not work in the winter...) but I gotta just stick this out for the next month or however long. :(

Thank you sweets
I took all the advice I've ever been given and people have said i work good i just feel so fucking inadequate
I wish there was more archaeology work in other provinces, the second language thing really drives up my anxiety
