I guess that's what happens when you're not a pure-blooded Brit who was raised from birth to follow your husband around, wear clothes 30 years too old for you, and be the latest broodmare for the House of Windsor. Damn that divorced, mixed-race foreigner.

I'm tempted to ask why Prince Andrew messing around with young women on a sex offender's island garnered roughly half a day of lukewarm pearl-clutching in the British media whereas Harry wanting to protect his wife has the papers in a state of round-the-clock apoplexy. I needn't of course, because the answer is obvious. Tapping into racism and nationalism is a lot more popular than going after a rich old white guy for abusing young girls.

Fascinating how the Brexit tabloids (the Mail, the Sun etc) are behaving here. This unelected bunch of billionaire inbred toffs represent the greatness in Britain apparently, whereas leaving the democratic institution known as the EU is "taking back control". Today is a truly historic day. It's the first time the Daily Mail and the Sun have ever been outraged about a foreigner f*cking off from England's green and pleasant land.

I don't get it. Are you for or against democracy?

I couldn't care less about 'democracy', I don't spend time worrying about things that don't exist. I'm for consistency. You can't laud the Royal Family as being a great British institution that should be funded by public money while also demonising the EU because it's "undemocratic" (it isn't but don't expect Mail or Sun readers to know or care about that) and leeches off the honest working Brit.

Not to derail, but it's been fascinating to watch BuzzFeed News morph into something with more integrity than the UK's tabloid press, over the years. They do some decent investigative work. They ran an interesting exclusive about a US company that'd bribed Facebook employees to re-activate fraudulent accounts, and it was disappointing to see people dismiss the story out of hand because they couldn't distinguish BuzzFeed News from its yellow(er) parent.
