Topic: Killing or torturing someone because you hate them

You must be pretty fucking full of hate if you wanted to do something like that and I suppose that's normal depending on who you're with. What i don't understand is this though, it's a very powerful emotion that would make you want to do something like that, exceptionally powerful, yet all it manages to do is make you want to do something so very common and none special.

I would imagine there are many reasons for hate leading to murder. How do you know it's sexual most of the time? Are there good survey numbers out there for particularly introspective murderers?

Some are fueled by hate, but that pales im comparison to the number fueled by sexual desires/frustration. I know this, because I actually know quite a bit about various killers. Kook is probably the only person here with knowledge on the subject comparable to my own.
I'm not saying it's never hate driven, but it is more often driven by sexuality.

You know its sexual by various things that they do during the torture, I believe. Like masturbating, fucking the bodies, watching violent porn beforehand, etc

So you two are talking about a handful of specific instances of torture that you've read about? Not just killing or torture in general?

I'm talking about torture that isn't related to cartels or pows

I'm mostly questioning Anon B's statement that "most of the time there is a sexual element" to killing or torturing someone because you hate them. I'm sure there people who get a sexual thrill from killing or torturing another person, I just don't know if it constitutes most of the incidents. I would wager that murders motivated by hate are generally grounded in more mundane reasons like money, power, abuse, perceived wrongs, the availability of sexual partners, endemic racial or cultural fears, drugs, or love affairs. Also, if they're doing it to fulfill some sexual need, then hate doesn't necessarily have to be the motive as the OP suggests. Someone out collecting victims to kill or torture might just be looking for victims that won't be missed and not targeting them out of hatred.
I think the sadistic ones that get some pleasure out of it are probably the outliers. That's what makes their stories interesting.
