I was in Dubbo Australia just about ready to Launch my first Globalstars when I got the news about his death.
Was a real downer - Wrote about him elsewhere somewhere the other day - We were NEVER Friends but I got to no the guy - His politics stunk really STUNK - However he was a nice guy. You and I elsewhere had a few discussions about Environmental matters - I first met the guy back when I was VP of Engineering for MCA/Universal on Discovision and later had to contribute in a huge way to recording consoles/Wireless Mikes (Vega) and High Speed Tape Duplication -
Later met him again when I was pushing a bill through congress for a couple of my pet projects and Bono Opposed me like crazy - We also had one crazy Senator who actually said IF you have seen one Redwood you have seen them all - His wife had published a book about trees n environment - I never got that wacky Senator on my side but at least I stopped him from opposing the two bills. Sonny the very odd thing is - He never got any legislation I remember through congress YET he as Mayor of Palm Springs wanted some Environmental protection and congress after his death pushed some through in his honor - He also owned and cooked in an Italian Restaurant in Palm Springs and dinner was on him.

IF I was doing it rite I wood NOT have moved on bit - My job was to show OFF The Singing Star of that Band -
Now I MAY NOT be the worlds Best Jitterbug Dancer but for sure I end up with hugs and kisses and lots of friends as result - U an INCEL only have your mother to hug unless she is in an Urn or underground which is not so much so good for hugging unless you like Necrochick go for the dead.
Bottom line is I will be out Dancing on my Ski Trip because I will be Skiing with Dancers from the Bay area - U will be on MC-TC in ur moms basement afraid to go out and meet real people and all u have in your life is Right n Left Palms - Of course you do spend your time trying to figure out how to kill self because U admit you despise what you are and what u have becum.
SO Do have a laff on me cause frankly U can see Y u want to kill self so often - At least that one laff brings U a micor moment of something beyond thoughts of how to die quick n cheap

Got to know the guy - Yu need reading glasses - IF and I mean IF Sonny were to have agreed to work with me on an Enviromental Bill THEN and only Then could I say I worked with him - Alas he opposed ME - Fortunately another far far far more powerful US Congressman told him to Shut Up and he did LoL.
Frankly I was shocked at how many Congressman were told to back off and shut UP - A moment of my life I still find amazing - Was just in a conference room as an observer only - May have had something to do with the POWER more experienced Congress people have - The working office space on Capitol Hill SUCKS - At best a new congress person gets in less than a Closet - My Walk in Closets in this House have more room than a freshman congressperson gets for office space.
Sonny was just a Freshman with no fringe benefits - Minimal staff with no need for working room.

One rather high level Mod on MC, recently viewed Proof that came along with an Award of the Highest level possible - Need to show that to becky sum time
Now u on the other hand will only get the award of ur mom washing ur back IF she is still able to move with her diaper unchanged as of yet

Where did it say where the award came from?
I did get an invite to hang with President and get one of those Pens he used to sign the bill - I said No Thanks - Probably 40 or so people in his office for such an occasion.
Twice because of Two totally independent bills. One Sarah Palin despises at times and is happy about at other times.
