Cocaine is sometimes referred to as 'soft' whilst crack can be called 'hard'. I've been trying to think of a good Svet/coke/hard lines joke for ages.

If the best man wins, then I win by default. You better hope it's the 2nd best or lower.

Fair do's Moyes. He hasn't lost a game for the last few weekends.

A 3rd Brighton player has just been diagnosed with coronavirus. It's looking increasingly certain the league won't be finished and final standings will be based on points per game. Which would mean Moyes relegates yet another team LOL.

I doubt any team is going to get relegated or promoted.

So what's your common sense view on deciding European qualification places?

Same teams as last year. They'll likely cancel the league if they can't restart it.

Very harsh on Leicester and Sheffield United. Plus, I don't think UEFA would allow that, since it's so arbitrary (other countries would have to do the same or else it's basically leagues handpicking who represents them). France has cancelled their league already and used a points per game system to decide champions and relegation. That seems to be the way others will do it.
I'm afraid we may have to say goodbye and hard lines to West Ham and David Moyes soon.

I don't believe any team will get relegated or promoted. For Europe? Maybe some kind of one of grand competition for top clubs. Being a hammer I don't think too much of Europe and there is a huge difference between that and domestic leagues.

Literally every team can still qualify for European competition, and only 9 points separate 6th place and 14th place. So which 'top teams' are going to compete in this "one-off competition" of yours, and how would it work?

I don't know and I don't care, we were talking about domestic leagues which I maintain will likely see no relegations or promotions.
> Literally every team can still qualify for European competition
And Literally any team mid-table or lower can still be relegated.

Your relegation point is correct. It was also correct in France when they cancelled their league and relegated teams based on points per game.
No, I really do fear that we may soon be saying goodbye to another David Moyes team.

Not at all. It's the fairest way to end the season. Why should the likes of West Ham get away with being shite while Leeds are robbed of the chance of certain promotion?
No, I'm afraid it's looking a lot like bye bye West Ham.

Don't worry though, Moyes is a decent Championship-level manager. He'll keep you safely in that division I reckon.

Bump, LOL. Beaten at home by little old Burnley.
Interesting to ponder what's in the players' minds for these last few games. Relegation would probably be a blessing because then the dour ghoul would be let go, whereas if they avoid it then the fans and players can look forward to a new contract guaranteeing them 5 more years of mind-numbing hoofball. It's a dilemma.
