It is meaningless. But. If we say new year is meaningless, and Christmas is meaningless, and celebrating birthdays, or any of those things, I think we lose out on enjoyment. And God damn it we need to enjoy life. Meaning is made. Why not text people to say happy new year and enjoy yourself, you know?
