First of all - Anon C is not even close to being a grandpa, nor is Anon C the person you think they are.

i didn't mean you syntax also idk where you are getting that information but you are probably looking at physical TVs instead of people actually watching linear tv
Also if you are trying to cite something maybe don't remove the relevant bits from the quote

> where you are getting that information
These days I simply ask Alexa and she always seems to try and please me
There was a slew more of information about who in your country is watching linear and nonlinear tv.
Back not that many years ago Qualcomm (u may have heard of them) Decided to get into the streaming of TV service to a hand held device. I said in meetings that was just a crazy idea because eventually the CPU in phones and tablets could do all that - Of course they paid no attention to my comments.
So they had to buy a slew of Mountain top locations for Transmitters because cell towers could not substitute - They bought a mass of transmitters for mountain tops and of course had to buy a lot of Spectrum. Spectrum at the time other people gave up on and could see no need for.
MediaFLO was brand name (Forward Link Only) and devices for sale and service became nation wide here in USA - Should ADD - TV in USA is Super super growing Business. You may have heard of a small company called Apple and Disney and Amazon - Who are ALL selling new TV service so fast the servers cannot keep up with customers and even Netflix has eaten up the mass of Data Fiber lines can handle and Amazon has Glitched Netflix recently as they ramp up Cloud for their own service.
Anyway of course the Qualcomm product failed - about the time it was perfected the Smartphones and Tablets etc came up to speed. So was it a bad decision and was I right?
Nope - Turns out Qualcomm for all the money they spent buying mountain tops - Transmitters - Manufacturing devices just for Flo - Advertising you name it.
All that scrapped to the Junk Pile - AND They made a Bloody Fortune with something at the time that No one considered of much value.
Yours truly who I admit was clueless hiked up to one of those mountain tops to look at hardware now for sale with no one interested because the transmitters and antennas and microwave links and all that was of no value on the resale market - And a question came to mind perhaps because of limited Oxygen to brain.
I came down for hike and got a couple of companies that never got along (CDMA vs TDMA [AT&T]) and IF I were only smart enough to end up as the
Broker with commision on the Asset that
Q had that AT&T needed (not that AT&T had a clue they really needed it)
I came away with wallet still filled more than ever before but nowhere near what a Broker wood have received.
Later I find out Verizon who turned down the deal, admitted they fucked up.
Ritting this because I am about to do a presentation that includes much more about
Failed Products n Plans vs Outstanding results nevertheless.
And thank you and MC for the space to air out how I will go about the planned
Razzle and Dazzle 2Take place in near future
