So I never met her. Did see her and husband boarding this boat LOT's O Times - Boat was on the other side of the Channel of the Marina. All kinds of news stories about how she died. What amazed me and still amazes ME is this.
Once she was in the water and assuming she was alive at that moment? If so look at the rear end of boat with NO Ladder to climb aboard. So sure one can say lots of Boats do not have such a ladder and others do.
What is shocking to me is - That boat remained in the same dock for the years I lived in Marina Del Rey and her Husband then a Widow, did not install a Ladder.

A guy who worked for Elvis said they use to call her Mad Nat when she hung around with Elvis. Said she was nuttier than fruitcake. Husband probably pushed her over and sailed away to peace and quiet.

I remember her from probably as best guess - Watching her in this movie at least 20 times over the years. Was one of my wifes fav movies around Christmas - Many a Girlfriend since.
I spent a few years working as VP for MCA/Universal studios and never met anyone that brought her name UP With the exception that people often brought up her strange death.
