1) Conflicting names (if we really did name images like that server-side)
2) You don't see the image name in the first place (if you don't open the image full-size)
3) You can always change the name when you save the file, when it actually matters.

I don't care what arbitrary name an image file has. Showing the file name would just lead to people uploading files with names like "the_game.png" just to fuck around and that's dumb.
