It's pretty conceited calling herself a pioneer. She doesn't deal with half of the threats real pioneer women had to deal with. When her kids start disappearing in the tall grass, and she comes down with a bout of dysentery, after her husband is killed by the accidental discharge of his weapon then I will call her pioneer woman.
