I've been blocking all websites except minichan.org and my life has been better for that.

I picked up the habbit of using "fag", "faggot", "homo" and so on in response to forums where that was commonplace usage by jackoff shitheads. I decided using the words among them and towards them was satisfying because that seemed what might affect them the most to their core. Fuckin cocksuckers.

Actually, fag, it's kid of fun. In the early days of 4chan it was pretty liberating. Everybody was a fag. Use Windows? Winfag. Use Mac? Macfag. In the US? USfag. In Europe? Eurofag. New here? Newfag. Been here a while or pretending to be? Oldfag. What do you call gay people then? Gayfags, obviously. People who aren't gayfags are straightfags. Duh. Everyone is a fag. OP is definitely a fag and most people paying attention to him are fags too. (There are no girls on the internet) Guys in the know all call each other fags. It doesn't mean anything. Diluting the meaning of the word was a step in making a commonplace term of endearment, and thus meaningless. It was almost noble. People were just voices who could be anyone. Calling them names was just admitting that you didn't know them and you were just fishing for something to offend them. Them persisting was showing that they couldn't be shaken by words and passed the test.
Then people started using the internet en masse. That caused a problem. It used to be cool. Most people would steer clear of our little club house because they were afraid of it. Then the crazies started running the show. It didn't really matter if they were doing it ironically. It was just there. Whether we wanted it or not. A pretty little hate machine steered by people who had the time and effort to steer it. It certainly wasn't steered by the people who created it. It took on a life of it's own and what was once a endearing term took on a serious tone.
So don't feel too bad. It started out as a good, if warped, idea.
