For a while I thought that every possible thing, inanimate, etc - no matter how small - had some sort of a soul, or consciousness that humans just couldn't see. Like they would communicate somehow telepathically or something. It led to me attributing a lot of sympathy to like, for example, pebbles in the road that get separated by a kick. Those pebbles could have been best friends, perhaps a small family that is now devastated by the loss to their unit. And then there's the friend that was lost - where is he now? In a strange land, and destined to stay there, forever lost for the rest of all time.

@op Isn't that something like Quantum Physics. I think thats what it's called. About believing all things have a soul. I sorta believe that and find myself feeling sorry for things like plants or trees that die.

Wow, I used to get really worried about inanimate things as well. I would make up little depressing stories about how I had ruined the budding relationship between two leaves on the ground or broken up the family life of a pile of sticks.

I didn't know what it was, but I was happier, happiness is soul. I lost my soul after turning 11. My imagination has faltered so much. Have you ever watched a kid play with snow? It's quite intriguing, they make stuff and just play with it, something I would never imagine myself doing nowadays.

Not too sure really. I SHOULD just go out and do it, but I am a very relaxed person, and around some people, I'm super shy. Usually, I'd just jump in the snow, depending on the day and who I'm with.

There are SOME people I'm comfortable around, but I don't see them very often. Short version of my story: Unpopular ever since popularity mattered in school, then grade 9 I become the shit, everyone liked me except a couple people who were in higher grades who I had previous fights with, and then I move to a new place when everything is great for me. :l
