Supermarkets have so many choices. Homemade was ok years ago. Haagen Daz or Ben and Jerry's vs what you can do at home?
Not worth the trouble.

ah you see however I fancy making unusual flavoars and perhaps I can adjust the sweetness lower to how I might like it better.

Good that I have a carton of Vanilla open and a Bottle of Kahlua.
Going to test to see if it's as good as I remember.

I’ve done homemade and it’s not worth the trouble. It was good but it wasn’t any different than generic grocery store stuff.

I had a gf a while back who bought a Kickball Ice Cream Maker. It has chambers inside to hold ice and ice cream ingredients. Instead of mixing it, you kick the ball around. It works. It's a cute idea, but I wouldn't recommend making ice cream like this on a regular basis.

Different from its chocolate counterpart, this ice cream focuses only on the vanilla and cookie dough flavors. Toppings to try out: Fresh blueberries, caramel sauce, MandMs.
Strawberry
Toppings to try out: Caramel sauce, pineapple, gummy bears.
Moose tracks
