Boiling is not the issue. The lack of any seasoning is the issue.

If you put a chicken into boiling water it will immediately jump out. The trick is to put the chicken in the pot when the water is room temperature and then slowly turn up the heat. That way the chicken won't notice.

No satire in this reply. Back when I lived in San Francisco and went shopping at a Chinese meat market in Chinatown. In the meat case was a HUGE and I mean for the meat case the amount of Ovaries was multiple times the amounts of everything else for sale. No clue what animal they came from nor what they were being sold for. Next to the Ovaries were a massive pile Pig uterus
Alexa shows me all kinds of ways Chinese and other Asians use Pig uterus but Ovaries did not show up on page 1 or 2 except for Fugu and I had no clue Fugu ovaries are a different delicacy and I have eaten Fugu in Beverly Hills as well as Japan multiple times and it's damn good Sushi with tingle on lips.
Gal just came over to join me Surfing this AM but that's not going to happen because of unexpected heavy rain and it's not good to Surf the day after rain Which means I will be stuck watching her choice of Christmas Hallmark movie which I have to watch with her because I lost a bet. I am sure this will end up with me fixing lots of pop corn to endure Hallmark crud
