i work at a chipotle in north carolina and on saturday a crazy hot pan of sofritas was dropped down the back of my legs and it burned so bad i was in tears. it burned the back of my knees it hurt to walk and when my gm showed up 45 minutes later he DID NOT CARE. i told him i needed to leave. nobody wants to pay for their food while talking to someone crying right? i went back to the office and interrupted him looking at the chipotle corn hole bags he could purchase and told him it hurt to walk and every time i did i cried. he sighed and rolled his eyes. only after getting someone to agree to stay an extra two hours was i allowed to leave. no accident report was filed. i went to the hospital and had them look at it i mean it wasn’t horrible or anything but it’s like the principal of the thing. i was told to stay home a couple days to let the back of my knees heal. i texted him after leaving the hospital to tell him that. his response was “why’s that?” he literally did not even fucking remember what happened to me. like what do i do? i know it may sound over dramatic but it’s really the negligence and mistreatment of the situation that has me so upset.
