I just installed Windows and for the past week, every single time I shut down my computer, Windows installs new updates. Why can't they make a single update that updates to the newest shit instead of forcing me to wait forty minutes every shutdown for it to install a single small increment? Why does Windows do this?

Did you install from a windows 7 SP1 ISO? If not, there's your problem. That thing includes about 70% of the updates so far.

Not sure. I think it was the original retail disc ISO. But still, I wish they would make a way to do all of the updates at once rather than spreading them out over a long period of time.

You aren't done installing until you're done with Windows Update.
Next time, just make installing all of the updates the first thing you do. It will be less annoying.

It pissed me off awhile back when Windows updated and it fucked up my GPU software. I had to reboot my computer in order to watch porn without VLC crashing.

Turn off automatic updates and just do it through Windows Update.
