So yeah, I'm the dude that thought season 9 was really boring, but I stand corrected about the Ori arc. The last 2 episodes of season 9 were epic, and I'm even warming up to Cameron Mitchell. I watched the first 3 episodes of season 10. That Morpheus episode was some boring filler, but The Pegasus Project is one of the finest hours of sci-fi I have ever fucking seen. I just hope that they keep the plot on a more serial and less episodic course. I like her because of farscape. That was a great show. I'm up to season 2, but I got bored with it.

Haven't watched Farscape. I just pirate the shows I wanna watch and watch them all the way through. SG-1 let me down for a while, with the Goa'uld/Anubis arc fizzling out in a really boring way (the diner episode) and season 9 being really slow (too much Ori BS and not enough Ba'al). Still, Season 10 has my hopes up, but from what I've heard the series ends disappointingly and it all gets tied up with the movies.

Rly? I was planning on watching Atlantis next, especially after seeing Game of Thrones and recognizing a character from Atlantis in that show, but if it isn't good, I may go back into the world of anime. I hope my patience with season 9 will be rewarded with more badass shit in season 10. Still, I think that the writers phased the Goa'uld out way too quickly, and that Ba'al would have been a much better antagonist than Anubis for seasons 5-8 (and they should have written in more with the Asgard and the replicators). Anubis was a pretty weak villain IMO.

Never seen that either. I have a feeling I'll like Atlantis from what I've seen. The Wraith are a really cool antagonist, and I really like the Stargat concept.

I like development and action to go hand in hand. I'm not strictly limited to sci-fi and anime, but those seem to be the 2 genres that suit my escapist attitude the most. Shit, I've DVR'd a bunch of the new season of Boardwalk Empire that I still need to watch.
