I made pho for Thanksgiving. I had an assembly line set up. Noodles go in the bowl, then beef, then boiling broth, then herbs, etc. Into each bowl I place just two VERY VERY THINLY SLICED Jalapeno pieces, green. I mean thin. Two of the White-People™ each ate one of the tiny slices and started coughing, sweating, chocking, howling, saying, "Oh my God! It's so hot! Oh my God! I hate an entire pepper!" and had to get up and rise their mouth with cold water. My God. This really happened.

Uncooked Jalapeno is silly to put in a standard dish in the USA. You should probably make it optional or point it out to people. It is pretty hot for a soup and people unfamiliar with Pho wouldn't expect it. I find it kind of dumb to whine about a very foreseeable problem like this.

I actually eat a lot of jalapenos and put Tabasco on everything. I know a lot of white people who do likewise. I just don't get the "white people can't handle spicy food" meme. Maybe I'm biased because the white people I know are Houston ni??as and maybe ni??as in Cincinnati or Minneapolis or whatever really don't eat spicy food, idk.

> Don’t be like Syntax and assume you know everything about my life and my family. You are smarter than that.
First of all I am Betting you did not make the Pho broth as they do in Vietnam and in quality Pho restaurants in USA - At a bare minimum it takes 9 HOURS and 20 mins just to cook the broth and one hell of a lot of skimming and re-do over and over again with the many hours and attendance is required.
#2 I assume of course UR that idiot who thinks he has some kind of sloppy 2nd fry cook training and lives in a State Famous for Hot Sauces in Bottles SUCH as This
IF I have pinned the tail on the Donkey - How Wood a few slices of Jalapeno be a problem
Opening a package of Top Ramen and using the packet for your broth and using Rice Noodles IS NOT Pho
I made Real Pho just once and will NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER NOT ONE MORE TYME Make it again - It's an Item best made by Professionals who grew up where hard labour to make Soup is what people do

There are maybe 4 other items I have taken the time to do 100% as it should be done. Worst experience was watching a PBS series on cooking and an Asian Gal does a Two episode show on how to cook Peking Duck. Now this was B4 VCR's to record wayyy back when - So I watched Both programs paying close attention and taking notes.
And get this - You need a Bicycle Pump and lots of technique to close the skin real tight as you Pump Air so the Skin totally separates from the bird. I said to Self Sure I have one and will learn to do AND DO
Then at the very last 30 seconds of the 2nd program She SAYS - And this is why you cannot do this dish at Home (Special Vertical Oven)
So the Engineer in my says OF COURSE I CAN AND Will build the OVEN And DID - Let me tell you that building of the Oven and all the rest was no big deal - The Pumping Air into the Bird!!!!!! Learning to suture with serious stitches the slimy skin and keeping the air from leaking out so you can PUMP IT UP
Was so much work - Tore skin to much and bought a total of 3 Ducks to get one Right
Yes that Peking Duck came out JUST FUCKING Purrrrrfect and NEVER EVER Will I do that Again - I place my order as a 2Go and am thankful the cost is as low as it IS

By the way building a gas oven powered by a tank of Propane - It ain't a fraction of difficult and a junk yard or thrift store I forget - Had all the material I needed - The motor to rotate was directly out of a Bar-B-Q grill and old one they handed to me for free
One COULD use to Bar-B-Qs turned on sides and propped up - Some simple metal shielding around the contraption for a one time use - Just NOT exactly hard to do compared to building a Receiver or Transmitter/HAM Radio or hell even an Antenna and Rotator for - I am a Rotten Mechanic but building that oven was just a few hours project and MOSTLY shopping for the Stuff to make it.
Today I wood go with 2 Bar-B-Q's - I C free ones in good condition on sidewalks for the taking and Free all the tyme

Yes, a typo. What I mean is this: there is no way that anyone here could know all of the knowledge and details of another poster's life, and entire set of friends and family. Yet people listen to the rants of a geriatric stalker and then assume they do know. It is ridiculous. How could Kook (and I love her, so noting personal), possibly know whom I had Thanksgiving dinner with?? Was she sitting in the bushes outside with binoculars?

How would the ratio even be stalking? If the white:nonwhite ratio is 3:1, that could mean you have 30 whites, 10 nonwhites or 9 whites, 3 nonwhites or 15 whites, 5 nonwhites, etc, etc, etc.
There would be no way to know what the actual numbers are from the ratio.
