The original ones were okay. But they didn't get me, like to where I wanted to go all in on the fandom. I didn't like the early 2000s ones (I forgot what they were called I think one of them was called Phantom Menace).

I think the new ones are fun. They track the broad story lines of the original trilogy but tell a more interesting story in some ways. Rey is a far more interesting protagonist than Luke, whose story seems almost two dimensional by comparison. I wish the new ones had better villains. Palpatine and Vader are iconic symbols of evil tyranny. Snoke and Darth Daddy Issues are fucking jokes.
