No need to fix what isn't broken, I still use a PS3 controller myself. The lack of a d-pad and second stick makes me question if the Steam controller is worth it, even at its current heavily discounted price.

the touchpad is arguably better than a stick for aiming in shooters, especially if you are used to a mouse. i do kind of wish it had a dedicated d-pad but the touchpad works great. i played super meat boy with it
