As I recall the picture was not of a ghost but rather a photo of the inside of a house (no longer recall exactly what house) which allegedly showed a ghost.
Using someone else's picture is totally okay I think. If you had used the picture and put in a caption something like "here's a picture from so-and-so's previous ghost hunting at this haunted house" no one would have minded a bit. It would have been fine.
It's the fact you claimed this was your own work, on your own expedition that got people upset.

Actually it was the front of a dilapidated wooden shack in Central Louisiana. The only reason I did it was that I tried to have new content daily, and I had nothing for that day lol

I don't think anyone would have expected new content daily. I mean how are you supposed to find and explore 365 different haunted houses a year? Even if that was your full time job, it still is insane. Even the professional ghost hunting shows on TV don't do that many. How are you supposed to maintain quality at that speed?
Once a week would have been better.
If you still have the photo you should post it for old times' sake. It wasn't even your photo so there should be no stalking/harassment issues I would think ?
