I can verify that McD's in Israel and many places on Planet Earth DO Not taste the same for the basic burger. Texture of meat varies from country to country.
In Israel you cannot even get Shakes cause of some dumb as all fuck rule. You can get pork as well as cream in coffee in Restaurants in Israel, BUT not Milk Shakes at McD's.

Because on trips and working/living in other countries I have on rare occasions used McD's for a simple burger and fries. The biggest difference from say USA to Italy - Australia - Israel - Brazil - Is the meat texture. Usually when it comes to working outside the USA, I am with a team of people which includes engineers who work for another company - For example this photo is Globalstars Satellite Command and Control Station and is Co-Located with a Globalstar Ground station - This one is located in Dubbo NSW Australia. Each is totally separated from each other by a SOLID Firewall and operate independently from each other. The Dish antennas are made by Alcatel.
Maybe 3 times in 6 months at Dubbo the Manager of Alcatel Satellite antennas would suggest lunch at the local McD's - McD's wood never be my choice, but I admit that City with maybe 36,000 people does not offer much in the way of memorable food. In fact there is nothing not one place to eat there that is memorable EXCEPT the Frozen for far to long shell fish at the local Thai restaurant. I ended up sticking with basic Thai dishes and never with any seafood. Even simple shrimp were freezer burned (of course being a one hour flight from Sydney is a good reason Seafood at the edge of the outback makes no sense)
