The problem is it's not our job to keep an entire continent on fucking life support. People are going to have to sustain themselves or not have kids.
The aid we send to Africa is the reason it's like this. We give them the food and resources they need to live and have kids and increase the population without giving them any skills or a sustainable economy, and then the higher population demands even more food and resources to survive.

Did I say they're not allowed to have kids or suggest eugenics? No, I didn't. I'm just saying that they shouldn't have kids that they can't support. The aid we give Africa is the problem. It's not sustainable. Throwing money at the problem just icreases the population beyond what they can sustain themselves and increases their demand for support. It's a downward spiral.

I said we're making the problem worse by throwing money at the problem. We could helping them by teaching them skills, improving their education, building their economy, etc. That way we help them help themselves. If we just give them money, it increases the population without any foundation to sustain it, especially since a lot of the aid comes from missionaries that refuse the teach about sex, birth control, or condoms. If we want to send them anything for free, it should be those three things.

I completely agree with you. They have become reliant on financial aid and have lost all of their profitable skills. If we really wanted to help, we would have to go on mass education campaigns. Also, we could offer people free condoms, birth control pills or sterilization. If we were to very gradually lower the number of new births we could thin the population while still always having enough people to sustain the nation.

All of that is being done. The problem is that the people in charge don't always want it. The people need aid. A lot of places are locked in terrible wars.
There are people living in refugee camps who don't knownif they were ever get to go home. Some of already been living in them for decades. The women risk rape daily. The men risk murder. Everyone risks mutilation.
Shit is bad. We can't not send money. Foreign companies are raping the lands of natural resources. Oil rich countries face terrible gas shortages because the oil is shipped out (lack if refineries).
The situation in Africa is terrible. They need to have food and medicine. We can't stop sending them medicine and food until it's no longer needed. We should work toward that end by helping educate the people, but we also need to force out the people killing their own. We dot have any real financial incentive too. The billionaires are already making their money off Africa.
Two genocides happened in all our lifetimes. Why do we ignore them? Why do we allow it to go on? Obviously, we aren't shy about going to war. It's because the people who decide have no financial incentive to stop it.
