While his more recent work is experimental from the get-go, a lot of songs on the 2009 album Bromst have this structure where it'll start off with a soft and gentle melody that builds on itself over and over until it warps into a psychedelic haze. This is the one that does it the best, I think. The last ~20 seconds are excellent at toying with my own expectations, every single note seems like it's leading into the last resolve of the song, but it never does and in a less good song, that would be twee and annoying but instead it's really charming.
