For all their insistence that Donald Trump is corrupt, it is his opponents who are willing to pervert reality to get what they want. They deserve every bad thing that happens to them.

Climate change is real, and if you disagree, you are disagreeing with science.

Because Science has never been shown to be wrong

Jeff looks confident. Those 2 scientists look confused as fuck about whatever it is they're looking at. I know who I trust.

Yeah. Jeff looking cool and friendly undermines the image just a little. That bottom image needed to be a fat guy shouting and firing a gun, or something.

Why would a climate scientist be in a lab coat holding a conical flask with some mysterious blue chemical in it? I would expect them to be depicted, say, launching a weather balloon or at least doing something that's even remotely connected to climate science. How do you know Jeff doesn't have a PhD in ichthyology?

They're not even wearing safety goggles despite clearly having no fucking idea what's in that flask. Jeff on the other hand is sensibly shielding his eyes from the sun's harmful effects.

> Because Science has never been shown to be wrong

science was invented to be capable of being shown to be wrong on purpose -- a self-correcting feature

On the other hand, the King James Bible is the inerrant word of the Lord God Himself and is solid as Truth can ever be

What exactly does staring at a flask full of blue liquid have to do with climate change? ?

When it becomes evident that a significant portion of the population doesn't give a shit about scientific hypotheses or falsifiability and is completely comfortable with an explanation of the world that amounts to "because magic" then you would think we would be smart enough to realize that we need to start pushing for an interpretation of the inerrant word of God that emphasizes responsible stewardship of our earthly domain that God has entrusted to us. Setting the two principles, science and religion, at opposite ends of the spectrum by implying or acknowledging arguments that imply that those two methods of thinking come to different and mutually exclusive answers is counterproductive.

Really, people have used religious ideas to justify their actions, no matter how noble or insane, for all of human history and comfortably lived out their lives believing they were right. Getting people behind the self-evident good of not dooming their progeny to a harsh existence by irrevocably damaging the balance of life on Earth shouldn't be a hard sell.

to be on the safe side, burnt offerings of our finest youths should be given to appease the unseen master of us all

I was thinking of something more along the lines of "I shall care for God's creation which was entrusted to me" type stuff with pictures of ducklings or some shit.

I would say that the last thing earth needs is another side that thinks its all better than the other sides.
