Should I feel bad? It's my aunt's apartment that she doesn't live in anymore, but she's so hospitable and nice. Should I feel bad for leaving so soon even though I didn't know it would be like this? Is she 'allowed' to be upset within reason? I like the area, it's very neat and all, the apartment isn't bad, just a bit dirty and bleak. It's just the cockaroachies. If it were up to me, now that it's night, I would probably rough it out for the next few days. I hope my father didn't base his decision solely off of what he thought I wanted. That would suck. But, God. How would I be comfortable eating here knowing that there are cockaroachies crawling all over the fridge? How would I feel comfortable washing my clothes with all the tiny baby cockaroachies on the washer? How would I feel showering? All those things along with the fucking New York heat and humidity plus no air conditioning makes it pretty bad, but livable. I mean, she lived here. Had I thechoice, should I have humbled myself? tl;dr should I feel bad? as bad as i do? ;_;

Nah, don't feel bad, Ninjj. It is kinda sad, but the fact is, no one should have to live in that. Your feelings are perfectly understandable. It's kinda sad that she has to live in that. It also sucks that you're gonna have to pay for a hotel now. Paying roughly $100/night for a room to sleep in sucks, especially if you're not even getting laid.

When I had a condo on waters edge in Marina del Rey there was a huge houseboat community. Just as eye was leaving the rules changed such that all house boats had to actually move on water. Some terrific designs rite out of a comic book
