Traditionally made American cheese (not "processed cheese") is delicious. Particularly if Amish made. Kraft stuff is just an abomination, plasticky and melts all weird. :(

Long ago...one of the snacks I used to enjoy was taking a slice of american cheese food product and folding it twice and putting it between two saltine crackers..
