You might be able to believe that a knife to the gut won't hurt you so much that you won't feel pain, but it'll still damage you.

Did you know they sell a lot more of them at Christmas than they do in November.

Yeah but it's the Independent. Does anyone read that and actually expect the articles to be accurate?

Yeah, scare tactics and propaganda are annoying aren't they? Brexit is a serious issue and must deal only in facts.
In entirely separate news, swarms of immigrants are pouring across the English channel (look at these billboards, they're approved by Nigel Farage!) and Britain is about to put 350 million pounds back into the NHS. I saw it on the side of a bus.
Finally, the Independent is owned and run by Alexander and Evgeny Lebedev, who were recently outed as being huge donors to the Conservative Party. So yeah, not really the best source if you want to claim an anti-Brexit bias (and I haven't even mentioned the fact that the article is directly quoting the chief executive of the British Meat Processors Association, which represents the entirety of the British meat processing industry. Someone who knows what he's talking about, in other words. But again, I know we don't do pesky facts where Brexit is concerned).
Other than that, solid thread.

Remember when Brexiteers had no problem with made-up scare-mongering propaganda?

It's directly based on what the head of the British Meat Processors Association has been publicly stating for weeks.

Yeah, except it wasn't. The photo used by Farage (and which the Leave campaign claimed depicted Dover) was later proven to have been a picture of the Croatia-Slovenia border from 2015.
But again, don't let these pesky facts get in the way of some scare-mongering propaganda.

That's fearmongering and absurd. @1,059,017 (Erik !jzYkdX7lIw)
Yes billions of dirty foreigners were going to swarm you and take your job if you didn't leave the EU. Luckily you left so quickly. Imagine if you had stayed in for many years instead. Think of all the people who would have done anything to flood into the UK right before it became a lot more difficult to immigrate. Because that's what would have happened if your theory of the case were true. Regrettably we didn't get the chance to test that theory because of the speed with which brexit was finalized.

Foreigners are flooding in. I walk around sometimes and see a uber driver from Irac or Iran and think "what the fuck are you doing here, how did you get in" Like we have some kind of shortage of uber drivers? Fuck no! There should be a test, can you talk in arabic and do you fill your throat with flem when you say your name? If so then fuck off!

Croatia and Slovenia are basically twenty minutes from London, which is basically thirty minutes from York, which is merely 3 minutes from Grimsby. That picture was taken essentially at England's front door.

A more apposite thing to ask yourself is what part of Europe Irac (sic) and Iran are in, and how will the UK leaving the EU alter their status as Uber drivers in Britain.
