I see them all the time on my way to work. One day I saw a bunch of dead ones. It was weird. Even in the train station.

Oh wow. I've never seen one in a place I was sleeping. Make sure you wash all your clothes and stuff when you get home. NY is infested with bed bugs. You don't want to bring them home with you.

Oh, it was okay. Annoying. Take off your belt/jacket/shoes remove computer from bag ended up walking through the thing like 3 times but it was okay because the check-in line was the shortest i've ever seen it
walked in and saw a restaurant related to one my brother worked at
another michael mina one and my brother also worked at a michael mina restaurant
then i saw an ad in flight for this ultra fancy restaurant that was part of a hotel that my brother worked at as well
so i thought that was funny

Never saw a cockroach in any part of California butttttt eye bet there are places with such. Downtown SD has bedbugs.

Reminds me of my mule ride from top of Grand Canyon to bottom and overnight or maybe two nights stay in a bungalow. Bed posts were in large coffee cans with water. Did this trip when I was married. So of course we had to ask Y bedposts in water.

Prevents Scorpions from getting on bed. Ended up running in2 many a Scorpion in the Grand Canyon.

I hike a lot n used to backpack and still mountain climb so I do enjoy snakes and just about all wildlife. Have several real cool encounters to share sum tyme. One real Stooooopid one regarding a huge giant monster Rattlesnake.

Never found Scorpions neat to view. Perhaps if they came in some other colour then translucent. - Like this Asian version

I saw a small brown one in Yosemite. The only story I have re: rattlesnakes is my mother's. She and my older brother were walking a path and found a snake. Picked up snake, brought home, put in cage. Turned out to be a rattlesnake. how did that work? I don't know.
